You’re not gonna want to leave! LOL!
I forwarded that video of the museum to my hubby and he loved it! I told him that there were more machines coming. I think he’d love to take a trip there. Well, if his mom were better.
She had to be taken to the hospital in the middle of the night last night...3am to be exact. I didn’t find out about it till he got another call from the hospital this morning...and THEN I had to ask what was up. Man!!!
I tend to stick to my guns too. I won’t buy a car till they meet my price or payment ceiling. No compromises. LOL!
Hey there! You made it. :-)
I hope some of that 40% finds your area. You can use it.
Sounds like Fall has moved in up there. Getting chilly and BRRRRR at the thought of frost. We’ve had some cool mornings but not that cool .... yet. Won’t be long though!
They say Nate will come through here this weekend and give us a good soaking. But hurricanes seem to have a mind of their own and who knows how it will track. We’re keeping a close eye on it and need the rain badly.
It’ll be hard to leave, that’s for sure. I know I won’t get to see everything while we’re down there. How much I get to see will depend on how fast the guys pack up the items we’ll bring back that trip and get everything loaded on the trailers and in the trucks.
Glad your hubby enjoyed seeing the museum video. I’m looking forward to checking the place out later this month when they have a cruise-in and open house. I’m impressed with how much they already have there since Monteagle is such a small town. Obviously the people involved with it are serious about having a NICE military museum for people to visit and being just a mile or so from the interstate, it’s easy to get there. I hope all their hard work pays off.
EEEEK on your MIL! I hope it’s nothing super serious! Obviously somewhat serious or she wouldn’t be back in the hospital. :-(
I guess salesmen don’t like you any more than they do me. LOL! They don’t like people they can’t steer. LOL
It is 40 percenting right now on my skylight....heavy a couple minutes ago, slacking off now.
Hope the rain finds you. Is the corn all cut down?
Good morning, ML...((HUGS))...you and Blue still hitting the roads?
You and Penny have a grand day.
WOOHOO!! And doesn’t that rain sound soothing as it hits the skylight?
It’ll be hitting our tin roof this weekend and I’m looking forward to it.
Our corn is all gone now, as of around 9:00 tonight. I know the guys must be dog-tired. They work LONG hours this time of year to get the crops in. They’ve already done several fields and have more to go before all is said and done.
The farm sure looks different now. Naked and not so pretty. :-(
The moon is gorgeous tonight!
I went out only once, though, to look at it and snap pix. The guys have been here all day and into the night harvesting and the air is too full of dust to be able to spend any length of time outside. :-(
Her oxygen levels became very low, I think, and the place where she’s been sent her to the hospital where they could do the most good.
Except....when we got up there this morning, she hadn’t eaten a bite of breakfast and when they brought lunch, she didn’t eat a bite of it. And there was no water in the room for her to drink. It just didn’t seem right. A nurse came in to ask background questions, but he zipped out before I could ask where her water was. There was NO one at the nurses station.
She’d be better off here with us. Which is what might be the case if she’s unable to live on her own after her time at the rehab place is over. We’ll see.
Dang!! I’d have been wandering the halls until I found someone to get her some water! There’s no excuse for that!
I hope they can get her oxygen levels back up quickly. Scary stuff, for sure.
There’s a good chance she won’t be able to live alone once she’s out of rehab. Might want to start thinking things out now regarding having her there with y’all so you’ll be ready if/when the time comes.
Oh, and WOOHOO! Ya got that #50, ya did!
We’ve already been discussing it. Not sure how she’d feel about it, though.
She was in pretty good spirits. Whe we walked in, she smiled and said “They thought I was going to die, but I fooled them”. I’m tellin’ ya, she’s TOUGH!
I should have been more forceful, but I’d already been begging her to eat and she refused. When I asked if she wanted water...that I’d go get it....she said no. I’m just the DIL.
Guess I’d better go. For some reason I’m tireder tonight than usual. So....see ya tomorrow! And I’ve gotta find some tunes! This week has flown by!
Well, darn if I didn’t! LOL! I had no idea!
See ya mañana!
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How’s it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?
If she isn’t able to live alone, she has to go somewhere. Seems she’d prefer living with y’all than at a nursing home. Her mind is still sharp, unlike Clara’s. Clara doesn’t know where she is so doesn’t mind.
Heck, I’m only related to Clara by marriage but if they screw up at the nursing home, I’m all over them like stink on poop! LOL! I’ve stormed the halls more than once but haven’t had to do it for quite a while. They learned. :-)
good night and sleep well. See ya tomorrow evening.
And of course we have rain.....no moon. *sigh*
Good morning, Liberty....what a cool picture!! Thanks for the tune, too.
