Little Rou was back in her owner’s arms, after being lost for days. “We saw her run by as we were talking, and… I had jumped over the fence, just kind of running from people, but as soon as I was calling her, I kneeled down, and she ran straight to me and jumped into my arms,”

I guess he felt the need to tell everyone that Rou is his Therapy Dog, not just a pet. I’m suddenly seeing more people do that. Maybe there is some social status in having a Therapy Animal.

I am sure the dog just loved being at the venue/concert before the mayhem started.
Now the poor dog will need therapy.

By the way whats a therapy dog ?

More than status, these dogs have almost the same “rights” as service dogs.

Looks like a French Bulldog. One Step Up from chihuahuas. I’ll give it a pass this time.

Well, good luck to you. I’m thinking you may actually have a small tortoise vs a turtle. Aren’t tortoises mostly land based? Whereas a turtle is always searching for the next pool or puddle of water. And search they will. I think they can smell the water.

Our Yorkie was a therapy dog for the local hospice center. The joy he brought to the patients and their family members was priceless. They always looked forward to Mortimer coming in to visit with them.

Eff’m. My rescue mutts are just as smart as my prior AKC dogs, and healthier.

Would you or any one else in that org subject their dog to a Country Western Outdoor Rock Concert.
I doubt it

Its probably a turtle which may explain why when I have “it” on a leash it drags me through puddles, brooks and streams rather than going around

Average cost for a mutt from the pound. . .$150. I just rescued one. . . he came with 7 days no questions asked return. I won’t go into the details but he has been on the destructive side . . .but does offer companionship. Never a dull moment!

You’d think they would put the handicapped parking on the other side of the puddles, brooks and streams.

Rescue mutts are the best. I was just responding to the idea that French Bulls are one step up from Chihuahuas. From a cost perspective that’s not the case.

Also, LA is awash with stray chihuahuas living on the street. You will never find an abandoned French Bull. Or should I say, it won’t be on the street for long; someone will snap it right up.

I hope the dog works out. Rescue dogs are generally among the most loyal.
