WASHINGTON – The Senate Judiciary Committee has voted in favor of the nomination of Notre Dame professor Amy Coney Barrett to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
The questioning of Barrett during her confirmation hearing generated protests from Roman Catholic leaders.

In case no one is following, Trump on track to get SIXTEEN circuit court judges. This beat’s JFK’s all time record by two. And he has yet to even name 9th Circuit people.
Given that a Mississippi judge may move up, he may be 17.
In one year, Trump has made major inroads into totally revamping the US judiciary.
Liberals preening for their base, have no spine.

(even tho i do not know her and maybe she is great and maybe she will be a dud... I just do not know her... but i am still glad she got a nod from the committee as a needed corrective, at least, to the jerkAssed questioning of her faith there)
The problem is it only takes a few renegade Fed Judges. They make outrageous rulings then declare them national. Until someone knocks these bastards down we will have Judicial Tyranny.

The hypocrisy on the Left on full display. I wonder if Feinstein would have questioned a Muslim judge about religion?? And Feinstein is Jewish. I’m assuming the no, or only 1 Dem voted to confirm? Didn’t see the breakdown in the article.

DiFi acted despicably, yes, in questioning the nominee’s faith
that was HORRIBLE, one of the worst things I’ve seen in the Senate and... even one of the worst i’ve seen from DiFi
BUT calling DiFi a Jewess is not complete, nor strictly accurate.
DiFi had a Jewish medical doctor as father. But she had a devout Roman Catholic mother. Mama sent DiFi to Catholic schools. DiFi is a proud graduate of Sacred Heart High School, hardly a Jewish talmud torah academy.
DiFi has been known to attend a “reform” Jewish synagogue, where she is probably accepted as “Jewish” at least to the limited extent that “reform Judaism” still may be said to qualify as a brand of the Jewish faith (it is largely founded on denials of central Jewish Biblical faith principles, but the regular or more orthodoxy Jewish rabbis are so afraid of schism that they keep trying to avoid ‘casting reform out’ and some of them actually try to reach across the table as much as they can to the ‘reforms’.. but it does not get very far, there’s just too great a chasm between faith and denials of faith, in simplest terms.
However she may self-identify today, she is almost certainly not Jewish by normal Jewish law (given her mama was not Jewish and I’ve never heard of her undergoing conversion into the Jewish faith). Note that the “reforms” have recently said they will accept children of Jewish fathers but that’s not been Jewish law for over 2,000 years so the regular or Orthodoxy Jews do not accept it.
From a regular Jewish perspective, DiFi is probably Roman Catholic but (since it is not up to Jews to say who is a Catholic) at least she’s not Jewish; Not at least without a formal conversion we haven’t heard about...
EITHER WAY, HOWEVER WE VIEW HER AND HOWEVER SHE VIEWS HERSELF......CATHOLIC, JEWISH, ATHEIST, BUDDHIST, or KLINGON, DIFI DID A MAJOR SERIOUS BADDIE in questioning the nominee’s faith. DiFi did NOT learn that even in her “reformy” Jewish “temple” (if she’s still attending much or at all?). Jews are taught to respect the faiths of other peoples, and if there’s anything Difi exhibited for sure it was a total lack of respect for the nominee’s faith. And DiFi also, I am certain, did not learn her despicable behaviour at Sacred Heart High School or from her Roman Catholic mother.
In questioning the nominee’s faith, DiFi insulted the American Constitution while bringing disrepute upon herself, of course, and by implication... in the minds of some folks anyway, disrepute on her own Roman Catholic and Jewish family heritage.
DiFi is well over 80 years of age and after this awful incident she should definitely and promptly retire! She become an embarrassment ... to the Senate, her constituents, and herself.
JINO. whether and who she may hate, we don’t know. DiFi does not have a known record of expressing any hate for people based on their religions. BUT
she certainly exhibited a despicable disrespect for the nominee’s faith commitment in this one event, that’s for sure!

so, without trying to generalize or presume to know what’s troubling DiFi inside her heart,
I call on DiFi to RETIRE NOW, get the Hell OUT, as she has embarrassed both the US Senate and... herself...badly.
That was the type of boo-boo that needed to be IMMEDIATELY RETRACTED AND SERIOUSLY APOLOGIZED FOR~ and we did not see that forthcoming. DiFi: please retire... you’re 85 years old as I recall, its certainly time to retire, get out now.
The Church wasn’t protesting her nomination, they were protesting how the committee was interrogating her. Feinstein was particularly pushing the notion that her religion would prejudice her judgements.
Don't undestand why you'd shout and emphasize the fact that Feinstein is a "Jewess".
That seems like a needless resort to ethnic prejudice...
