From the article:

There were 23 firearms including automatic weapons inside the Mandalay hotel where Steve Paddock holed up for four days. Investigators also found another 19 firearms, along with explosives and several thousand rounds of ammo at Paddock’s house in Mesquite, Nevada, some 80 miles (130 kilometers) away. Automatic weapons are banned.

Full auto weapons, however, are widely owned by police officers, federal officials and military organizations. It will be very interesting to find out where this weapon came from and how it was acquired

Did he modify them? He had no military experience. Where did he learn how to do that?  Who trained him? Who did he associate with?

The Islamic State has provided further information (in English) to substantiate its claim that Steven Paddock was a Muslim convert who waged war in the cause of Allah in Las Vegas Sunday evening, claiming that Paddock did a reconnaissance of the site of his mass shooting.

I respect Pam Gellar and the work she does, but evidence of ISIS affiliation would consist of a video or social media posting by Paddock swearing his allegiance to Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, like Omar Mateen did before he gunned down those people in Orlando last year.

Terry Nichols was married to a muslim Phillipina.

Her parents ived in the same building as the failed Bojinka Plot bombers, the guys who planned to knock of John Paul 2 and knock 20 airliners out of the sky at the same time.

Under questioning by the cops in the Phillipines, guys from Abu Sayyaf described repeatedly meeting with a former US soldier they called “The Farmer”.

Terry Nichols’ job before joining the Army was farming.

McVeigh used a calling card when repeatedly calling the southern Phillipines. After the card was almost depleted McVeigh screwed up and replenished the card using a credit card tied to his name:

He had been repeatedly calling a public phone in the Phillipines then located right behind a well-known Abu Sayyaf safehouse.

Why did Casino Kook wire $100,000 to the Phillipines..?

Sudden Donor Syndrome...?

This can’t be, Our own FBI had conducted an audit of everything he owned within 24 hours and found nothing. They told us so!!!

People that don’t know anything about weapons should really shut up about weapons. Sick of reading retarded nonsense from people I dig.

If it can be firmly established that this clown has ever visited Dubai that would lend credence to....but certainly not *prove*...this claim being correct.

Anyone who's ever been there (as I have) knows what I mean.

And no,I'm not saying that every American who's ever visited Dubai is a jihadi. But 1) Dubai is not at all high on the list of vacation destinations for Americans and 2) of the Americans who *have* visited Dubai in recent years it would appear that he's the only one who's ever killed 60 country music fans and injured hundreds (all "infidels",no doubt) in a major American city using jihadi techniques.

Pamela Geller is about as reliable a source as Alex Jones. Take whatever she claims with a big grain of salt.

Meh, slide-fire stock, no problem. Run a few mags with a stock like that and it’s no problem, even if there’s more muzzle climb.

You break down an AR-15 one or two times and it’s a snap. 10 or more times..? You can do it with your eyes closed.

Training..? Even a fool can do it, though if you’re fussy there are 100 YouTube vids that can put you straight, in way less time than in the miitary, too.

If you didn’t want to go the slide-fire stock route you can also use the AutoGlove, though the BATF recently ruled it’s not legal.

The range was a bit far but this guy was basically spraying a crowd of 22,000 people below him. Many of them actually LAID DOWN for him for some minutes, giving him fantastic stationary targets.

Later crowds of them took refuge in —get this— a TENT.

I’d say a total idiot could manage the technical aspects of his grisly work.

How did he get the weapons up there..? He broke them down, placed them in bags and then CARRIED them up there. Easy.

Crates of ammo..? They could be pre-loaded into mags, then put into common bags, but there are also big, roller-wheel Samsonites that will accomodate entire CRATES of ammo, no prob.

The technicals are actually pretty easy.

It would take about five minutes of YouTube to find out how to make the switch from semi to auto. Anyone who has taken eighth grade shop class could do it. Of course no one does metal shop anymore.

AFT just said that 12 of the guns in the hotel room had bump fire mods. They also found guns and ammo in his Reno house.

He did NOT have “automatic weapons!” He had standard semi-auto rifles, modified with “bump stocks,” ant fitted with large capacity 100 round magazines. A “bump stock” is basically a spring-loaded device that simulates automatic fire by using the rifle’s recoil to create a “bounce effect” on the shooters trigger finger. Thus giving the shooter the ability to simulate auto fire without ever physically relaxing/releasing his finger on/from the trigger.

I am getting rather aggravated by all these uninformed twits claiming the psychopath had “automatic assault weapons.” Unless the authorities prove otherwise, that claim is total BS.

It is unwise for the authorities and the leftwing media to dismiss the Islamic State’s claims out of hand.

Unwise why? Will we fight the war on terrorism harder if this was ISIS?

did Isis come out with the ‘he cased the joint’ story before or after the published story of a hotel claiming that he tried to book rooms but they didn’t have the ones he wanted, the previous week or so?

There were 23 firearms including automatic weapons inside the Mandalay hotel

It's not illegal to own 23 firearms.
I haven't seen or heard anything to confirm the statement that he used an automatic weapon.
Reports I have seen indicate he used a Slide Fire type bump stock.

with explosives and several thousand rounds of ammo at Paddock’s house in Mesquite, Nevada.

I haven't heard any official statement that there were explosives at the house and it is not illegal to own ammo in large quantities.

Automatic weapons are banned.

No they aren't. You just need meet the stringent federal requirements to own one.

It will be very interesting to find out where this [automatic] weapon came from and how it was acquired.

What automatic weapon?

Did he modify them? He had no military experience. Where did he learn how to do that? Who trained him?

It's not Rocket Science.
You can buy a legal bump stock for $150 and almost anyone can follow the simple instructions on how to install and use it.

Who did he associate with?

Now you're talking!
If it was muslims the evidence will probably never see the light of day.

Debka is reporting the FBI & other sources knows that the guy went to the middle east and has photos of him over there so does that mean they were they watching him? If so, why?

ISIS names Las Vegas killer “Abu Abdul Bar Al-Amrekini”
Oct 3, 2017 @ 8:23
The Islamic State reinforced its earlier claim of responsibility for the atrocity with another communiqué Monday night, which named Stephen Paddock “Abu Abdul Bar Al-Amrekini” and said he had carried out surveillance of the concert arena opposite the hotel before murdering 58 people and injuring 515.

The first ISIS notice claimed that he had converted to Islam some months earlier. While an official US spokesman stressed there was no indication at this time of Paddock’s affiliation to any international terrorist organization, various Middle East sources said overnight Monday that he had been in contact with certain quarters in the region, and claimed the FBI had photos recording his visits. No specific country was named in these reports.
