My delight, dearest Jim.
I'll put something together for the New Monthly Donor Campaign when I return from Dog Beach. The sun has finally made its appearance, and Louie has been very patient all day. Not very warm today ... 74 ... going to 80 by Thursday, (thank God) so we won't stay more than 2 hours today.
Woke up this morning in my new place in Scottsdale to discover that I had no hot water. I thought I was back in the Army. Turned out that one of the heating elements in the hot water heater had died. They fixed it by the time I got back from driving all over the Greater Phoenix area taking care of errands.
I tried to do laundry last night, but it turned out that the new washer/dryer they had installed had not been connected to the water supply, just shoved into the alcove. They fixed that too. I've been running one laundry after another.
Once things quiet down, I'll send in my usual dollar-a-day check from Arizona. For now, I'm running around like a decapitated chicken getting everything ready. I start work tomorrow.
