Says is it possible it was done by someone else(ISIS) and this guy was used as a cover?

And here comes the gun control advocates.....literally would have to pry them out of our dead hands.

Thank you!

Interesting positioning of the presumed suicide weapon.

Almost 600 people were not “hit”.

Most of the injuries occurred when scrambling and dodging, even stampeding in some cases, to get way. Many people were pushed down and stepped on.

Conspiracy theories, yes. Can’t get away from that.

Business impact, not so much. If MGM was smart (and I think they are), they’re already working out a plan to pay the deceased, injured and those who were there enough to keep this out of the courts and definitely out of the hands of a jury. My guess - $2 Billion (inclusive of a cut rate attorney percentage of 25% given the tragedy). They’ll make the number big so even the lawyers won’t think there’s much more to be had via trial.

On top of that, don’t be shocked if MGM announces scholarship funds and intern programs for the children of the victims.

The hotel wants to position themselves on the side of the victims as strongly and as quickly as possible.

Why would these be released, you think?

Any ex-coroners here?

Re: photo of Paddock dead.

There is fresh blood, and a larger stain that doesn’t look fresh.

I would assume as much.

The problem I’m having is that every single news source, without exception, is reporting “as if” those people were all SHOT. Your following sentences are logical and probable, but not what is being reported. It is inference. I make the same inference, but I’m perplexed that the MSM is not even mentioning the concept.

A little less then 300 yards to the band stand. 320 ft up, 800 ft on the ground to band stand, gives me a shooting distance of 285 yards. Of course some shots longer and some less.

Although a lot of delicate egos are at stake, running an AR-15 isn’t like learning kung fu ninja sword. It’s pretty simple for a reason and his skill level could be attained in an afternoon or two.

And his target was like shooting at a target the size of a Walmart from around 500 Yards away. He literally only had to keep it inside 500+ MOA.

The "not fresh" appearing stains are other fluids from the brain mixed with blood...goes down into the fiber of the carpet faster than the coagulating pure blood.

Not a coroner...sorry...just unfortunate experience from a former career.

They will go after normal capacity magazines as well, if not an outright ban on semi-autos.

How will they enforce their new gun laws?

With guns...

Def bump fire on the one, you can tell by how the slide fire intrudes on the trigger hole. The bipod rifle does not have one.

That top photo is an AR15 with a slide fire stock and a Surefire 100 round magazine.

The bottom photo shows what appears to be an AR15 with standard Magpul 30 round magazines; one in the rifle, one out. However, the angle of view is such that there appears to be more girth to the mags and a slightly straighter body shape, which might make it an AR10 or one of the ~30 caliber AR15 variants, like 6.8spcII.

BTW, the slide fire stock does not make the gun a full auto, it is still one round per trigger pull and the trigger must be pulled. It is fully approved by the BATFE (ATF) and has been for many years. It also does not add any capability that these rifles cannot already do without it by what is called bump firing.
