That’s a lot of preparation for somebody who “just snapped”

Doesn't look like a bumpstock. Is it?
To: Oldeconomybuyer
The first photo has no bump fire stock. The second photo is definately a Slide Fire brand bump stock.

Good thing he had that ‘hammer’ to break the windows... I suppose using one of his weapons instead wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense.

The un-inserted mag looks like .308/7.62x51. Hard to tell. The .223/5.56x45 has an Eotech on it (just like mine) not real good for precision long distance shooting. Maybe up to 200 yrds for a well practiced shooter. I can hit 8/10 with my Eotech 9 inch plate at 200 yrds ... but I shoot a lot. This guy as I understand was not well practiced

There are reports he had two tripods set up.
One rifle with a scope and one without.

dozens of casings on the floor
Dozens? Should there not have been hundreds...maybe its just the phrasing...

The compensator accounts for some of the noise identification problems.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Shouldn’t the floor be completely covered in shell casings? He must have let off well over 1000 rounds.

Didn’t anyone hear him breaking the windows at the start? That would have identified the room.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Looks more like a 30 caliber hole than a 22 caliber hole from a .223 round.

First pic looks like a Colt AR with a standard selector switch. Second pic is a Daniel Defense AR with a standard selector switch.
Where are the pics of the full autos?

From the article:

Total BS.

Is a slide fire bump stock even illegal? Not that it matters. Thought they were legal here in Texas, for a while anyway.
I would have expected a hell of lot more empty casings...maybe just doesn't show in this pic.
