After a century of the product’s consumption by a culture increasingly sensitive to the abuse of the weak and helpless—in this case, circus animals—the “Greatest Show on Earth” has been relegated to an empty sideshow. It is simply too brutish for sophisticated moderns who wince at the crack of a whip on an elephant’s rump.
Anybody who can write stuff like that while the abortion holocaust is ongoing is no conservative.
I have also noticed the scoring is keeping most games at a tight spread across the entire league. It is an historical outlier pattern suggesting fixing.
It will remain hard to prove (like the Raiders offensive line accusation), but over time I suspect we are going to discover that many Fake Sports results have been prearranged and they have been playing the fans for suckers all along. The money is too big to allow random outcomes.

The kids of this generation have a thousand times worse chance of breaking out of the ghetto through academics and then gainful employment than those of Sowell’s generation. The mindset has changed.
Regardless of the outcome for the entire football watching world... I AM DONE with the bozos in the NFL. My TVs at home are strictly off limits to ANY and ALL football games (college as well). If the majority of GUYS out there turned the TV to something else...the sponsors will start dropping like flies.
Major League Baseball will be fine; even the minors are building new stadiums.
The NBA has similar demographics to the NFL; if a race pushes their dominance of the sport per percentage of players, I don’t need to watch that.
Baseball is diverse, Dominicans, Japanese, Koreans, Americans, Central Americans, Venezuelans.
I think in the end, the message is not going to be watching other sports, it will be to do your own thing, fishing, running, go to a shooting range, riding a bike...
But other sports should do okay. If they push their bs, then, they will suffer.

There is a theory that governs much of what society does with these young aggressive men. The theory goes that you have to give them an outlet for the aggression. Build basketball courts in ghetto neighborhoods, boxing after school, etc.
Problem is, it is probably the exact opposite. Studies on police recruits have shown that aggressive tendencies become more pronounced the more aggression is vented. Instead of dissipating, it is heightened. The youth becomes more comfortable psychologically, in acting aggressively. It is not channeled or reduced.
Turns out, they would be better off standing on the corner smoking pot or at their grandma’s crib watching porn and masturbating - their preferred activities.

Americans claim that the first football game was between Princeton and Rutgers Universities in 1869. However, the game bore little resemblance to the way it is played today.
Football has been on the American cultural radar for only about half of our national history. I doubt Washington or Lincoln had ever heard of it. Perhaps they weren’t real Americans?

It wouldn’t hurt to defund universities in general. Too many people go to college and get little to nothing for their money. They incur life-long debt to create safe spaces for leftists and sexual deviants to corrupt the culture. Colleges should be for serious people preparing for careers requiring rigorous scholarship. What we have now is four years of sex camp for arrested development layabouts.
Sportsmanship, skill and 'hometown pride' replaced by thuggery on field, violence and corporations that have no allegiance to the cities that feed and support them... Then players that are eternal pissed of 'victims'... too creepy.
