The Post will, imho, put out the version the deep state wants.
That may or may not always comport with reality.
The deep state is presently interested in painting mass murderers as conservative. Since all mass murderers are Leftists, this means the deep state’s desired narrative will always be false.
The Post (in their “news” section anyways, their “opinion” section is filled with unsubtle retards) is a lot craftier than your garden variety news rag at calling the perpetrator a conservative. They’ll show a picture of the guy to let you know he’s a white male, talk a lot about his gun collection, and mention that he was a wealthy guy living in a conservative area.
What they WON’T mention is his recent anti-Trump activism, the unapologetic Communist beliefs of his girlfriend, or that he specifically planned to shoot a group of people who are disproportionately Republican. They MAY mention his polyamorous relationship, but won’t go into detail of how those indicate a liberal lifestyle. They will mention his gambling habit, but won’t point out that conservatism frowns upon gambling and that social liberalism is indifferent to it. They also won’t talk about whether or not he attended the liberal “comedy” shows which are a dime a dozen in Vegas.
