reminds me of a certain country western song, “Sneaky Snake”

Now he doesn’t have any arms or legs
You cannot see his ears
And while we are not looking
He’s stealing all of our beer

Yeah, I agree.

I would also say that the whole thing was kind of fading off with Kapernick not playing this year and then Trump got involved and the whole thing went viral.

When all is said and done, I sincerely hope the NFL get’s its priorities straight, stops the kneeling, admits it made a mistake, get all political BS out of the game and game commentary, and continues its tradition of honoring the military, otherwise the LEFT wins again and destroys another historically patriotic institution.

The Left doesn’t realize that killing the NFL actually will hurt them more than anyone else in the long term.

And, honestly, the NFL is 1. Doing it to themselves and 2. long past its sell by date. Not to mention 3. a false religion for many.

I agree the NFL is hurting themselves since they could put their foot down and ban all kneeling and other nonsense but how will it hurt the left in the long run?

They won’t lose many customers. Pabst, not Inbev, makes Colt 45. And the limousine liberals wouldn’t get caught drinking anything but a craft beer.

The NFL wasn’t honoring the military until DOD paid them money, FYI.

Fair enough but at least they’re willing to honor the military. Are you going to arguing that the NFL is not historically right leaning? If so, don’t bother, you’d be wrong.

All they need to say is, "We are a pro-American company that does not support anti-American sporting events."

Prediction #1: They won't say that.

Prediction #2: What they do say will be clueless and infuriating.

Happy to be wrong...

Done, also sign up on Twitter.
I am unlikely to ever Twit again though, it’s like stirring a septic tank.

Step back for just a moment.

This is a league that does nothing when one of their players gets down on all fours in the end zone and mimes pissing like a dog. What does that say about the NFL?

The league virtually condones the anthem protest. Teams are kneeling, locking arms, not coming out for the anthem. What does this have to do with football?

The actions of the players is outlandish and disgusting to any normal person and the league doesn't understand why that is.

The whole dynamic is seriously out of phase. The NFL is in a tailspin and has no idea how to pull out of it.

So the Left has the Right doing its work for them. Smart.

1. Millions of dollars in funding, fundraising and advocacy they will not get from owners, teams and players if the NFL dies.
2. Black ‘youth’ will no longer be able to rely on football skills to ‘make millions’ and will perhaps apply themselves more in school. If they don’t, we can blame the leftists for ruining football and causing the problem. And if they do, there’s a chance they’ll see through the leftist propaganda they are served in schools.
3. With the end of football as a career path, more ghetto ‘youth’ who want to get out of the ghetto will have to join the military. This will reduce the number of leftists.

You point is true, the left would see it as a victory. All the same, it has been many many years since I felt the NFL was a brand worth supporting. Their embrace of the leftist thugs who infest the game has diminished much of what I used to love about the game. The NFL may need to die to save it in the end. Maybe something better will arise from the ashes having learned a harsh lesson about bending the knee to leftist monsters.

No, I’m going to argue that the NFL is historically money leaning. They do whatever they think will get them money without concern for how it looks until afterwards.

A beer company having more respect for the flag than USAA.

Pathetic

I'd call that a safe bet.

Long story short is that Roger Goodell is an incompetent pr!ck.

The owners need to do something, now, although I doubt it.
