CEDARTOWN, Ga. (AP) - The Latest on the shooting of two police officers in Georgia (all times local):

A county official in Georgia says one police officer is dead and another wounded after they were shot while approaching a stolen car.

Update: 2:59 p.m. EDT—Seth Spangler, the subject of a manhunt in Georgia’s Polk and Floyd counties on Friday afternoon, has been arrested, WSBTV reported. Spangler was wanted in connection with an incident in which a police detective was fatally shot and another officer was wounded.
