IMO, like 1984, ‘Conspiracy Theory’ and ‘Enemy of the State’ were warnings (and those, here, CHEERED the passage of the Patriot Act, FISA, NSA/DHS/etc.)...I’m sure the indoctrination centers are using the latest tools to ‘teach’ the Founding Fathers were terrorists.
Liberal secularists have been fighting a culture war with Judeo-Christian culture for a century, so it is their default enemy.
They see Muslims as allies, since the Muslims meet the “not Western culture” measure of morality liberals set AND readily attack Judeo-Christian society. The liberal atheist is happy to have Muslims stand by and say, “We find this Christmas display/historic icon offensive. It isn’t anti-religion, see, this monotheist agrees with me.”
Liberals choose to ignore Islam’s true rape culture, anti-Semitism, homophobia, because they assume the Muslims siding with them to gain greater immigration numbers and welfare will “convert” to liberal secularism just as many moderate Christians and Jews did.
They are wrong, since Islam has far better cultural resistance to such assimilation, but their ideology prevents them from admitting it. Hence the demands to keep Islamic rape gangs secret while using them to attack anything liberals don’t like at the moment, such as the London mayor having Muslims and feminists agree that bikini ads must come down.
