"The congressman is making the case for the pardoning of ex-border patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean. In 2006, Ramos and Compean were convicted of shooting a drug smuggler. They thought he was armed and shot him as he fled. He later admitted to having smuggled several hundred pounds of marijuana, but both agents were fired and arrested on assault charges.
President George W. Bush commuted both men's sentences in 2006, but their names are still listed under "convicted felon." Hunter sent President Trump a letter of urgency, hoping he will completely clear the agents' names.

I remember this well. The John & Ken radio show had Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean and their families on many times during & after this fiasco. The Ramos family especially was devastated by his arrest & incarceration.
This case is when I knew the Bush administration was on the side of illegal aliens and their employers and against the citizens and the rule of law.

I want to puke every time Dana PeeRino or Turd Blossom Rove show up on TV and give them accolades the do not deserve. TG we didn’t get the idiot son, Little Yebbie as our nominee last year. Hopefully, like the Clintons , we’ve seen the last of the Booshes. I guess we only have to fear the Half-Breed Texican, George P. Boosh. How Texas could have elected this little beaner Railroad Commissioner (whatever that is) escapes me!

Tim Allen was arrested in 1978 with 1.4 POUNDS of cocaine and charged and convicted as a drug dealer. Why would anyone want to pardon him?

Shooting a fleeing, unarmed man - even a drug smuggler - is something I thought we wanted to discourage law enforcement officers from doing?
