It actually doesn't even matter if it's true or not. The mere suggestion of such a thing -- from two guys in the media who are citing a source who attributes this directly to one of the players involved -- is enough to destroy not just the NFL but a number of related industries as well.

Here's how crazy this is:

The NFL is almost in a position where they are forced to act as if this is true, and treat everyone involved in the situation accordingly, even if they are sure it's NOT true. This may be the only course of action that can potentially restore any confidence among spectators and outside business interests that NFL football is truly competitive anymore.

I would not be surprised if state prosecutors all over the U.S. -- and particularly in Nevada and New York -- are already taking a close look at this story.

Only Delaware and Nevada have current betting on sports and Delaware only allows parlay betting on the NFL. Nevada stands to lose not just the hundreds of millions on betting itself, but the hotel fees, food, shows, etc. Not to mention all the support businesses in the area. Even right now all those who lost on this game can demand their money back.

Stop and think! These are blacks. They have the right to do anything they want to do to right the wrongs. No black would get more than a slap on the wrist if they admit to throwing a game.
