Sowell - I am Trying to Find His Example of the Failure of Affirmative Action in His Books.
I think it was the Cultures series, He spoke about a small country or island that implemented affirmative action policies for its minorities and ended up with civil war and genocide.
Has anyone read his books and can come up with the example for me? I have looked but I do not have all his books. I think it is an important example to disseminate far and wide.

Thank you.
Sri Lanka, Sinhalese vs. Tamils. Also Malaysia, Malays vs. Chinese ... but the Sri Lanka case is the one with the war.
Thanks T-C. Do you recall what books these examples were in? I would like to copy portions and spread them.

“Migrations and Cultures” seems like your strongest candidate for a full treatment. I just checked in “Race and Culture,” and the situation is brought up, but as an example for various points rather than in a narrative way.
I read Sowell’s book “Black Rednecks and White Racists” [I think that was the name].
It was a series of essays on the culture wars, much of it about the liberals’ false wooing of black voters, and how liberalism destroyed the black family
