I can understand one man in a high public position making a statement about a perceived injustice, but a whole bunch of copycats and their employees doing the same thing smells very bad. Kind of like Astroturf.
Yep, virtue signaling isn’t very deep. It make the person (I guess) feel better about themself while actually accomplishing nothing. Throw in some sanctimonious smugness and you have the daily life of a liberal. All self absorption/congratulation with nothing done.
