Excellent!

I am glad to see the NFL being exposed to be a welfare league.

There wouldn’t be $100+ million contracts if the NFL had to pay for their own stadium. These rich NFL owners need to get off the welfare.

“Over the past decade, new tax-supported NFL stadiums rose up for...the Minnesota Vikings (the $1.1 billion U.S. Bank Stadium)...”

I could go on and on about what a screw-over the taxpayers of Minnesota got with this new stadium.

The worst part of all is that the new stadium bill passed thru a GOP-controlled House and Senate. Hell, we had GOP legislators falling all over themselves to support it. They fell for the mantra chanted by the Chamber of Commerce “We’ll be a cold Omaha if you don’t build it” or “People won’t wanna relocate her for jobs unless we have this stadium”.

The owners (the Wilfs - billionaire grifters) did the obligatory “If we don’t get a new stadium, we’re gonna leave”. Roger Goodell flew in on his private jet and told the legislature “You’ll never get a Super Bowl again unless you approve this bill”.

Our assclown governor rattled on and on about this being “The Peoples Stadium” in spite of the fact that the public will derive little or no benefit from its existence.

This bill passing caused me to come out of political retirement. I worked for several GOP candidates who challenged incumbents in the GOP primary. We managed to knock off only two of them. I wanted more political dead bodies - a lot more. But I was satisfied with what we did get.

When are we gonna learn to say NO to these people?
