People tuned in to see the freak show. It won’t last.
All I needed to do was look at the byline. Allahpundit is a dyed-in-the-wool never-Trumper.
All his columns are laughable trash.
Two popular, big-market teams payaed. That’s going to bump up ratings, even amidst a boycott.
How did it do in comparison with Week 3 last year and the year before?
Bet the BS about firing any Cowboy that doesn’t stand drove the ratings up. People wanted to support a ‘patriotic’ team. We were played.
IF the ratings were up - it was all about the hype of would the Cowboys kneel or not?
I don’t even know who won the game. Who cares? Jerry got what he wanted. All eyes on him and his stupid stunt.
All Cowboys games were up this year. We believed Jerry would not fold, and the hype around what they would do drove viewership last night. I believe peak viewership has been reached.
“Monday Night Football Posts Best Ratings Of The Season To Date”
Huh ? This wasn’t the FIRST MNF ?
Is he actually David Frum or Egg McMuffin?
Hillary sticking the knife in Trump?!? Yeah sure LOL.
Every time that harpy closes or opens her eyes the one simple truth confromtamher, DJT, POTUS. HRC, “What Happened?”
JJ and the players did not protest the anthem. Seems to me Trump is winning on that and the fans may not feel the game was disrespectful to the country.
Also the year over year put the Cowboys (2017 huge national draw) vs. and ATL vs. NO matchup.
Don’t let anyone tell you that a 3% gain in audience over low numbers for 2016 is a win for ESPN and MNF with one of their better matchups for the year.
People wanted to see if the Cowboys would save THE GAME. They failed.
Cooked
Or all the folks who never watch football turned on their tvs.
My 1st thought
It’s less about ratings than advertising rates. How much does a 30 second spot go for now...? And are makegoods involved?
ESPN shifts how they count MNF rating numbers?

If true, typical commie tactics.
Which is why you look at advertising rates.
Bread and circuses.
