I dropped my NFL Red Zone subscription yesterday. I’m done with the NFL for at least this season. If nothing improves it’ll become permanent.

To correct this crap, the entire NFL executive level has to be shown the door.
Not just that moral coward Goodell.
The NFL, in its idiot desire to appease a demographic that isn’t even interested in sports at all, has so thoroughly bent the knee to the SJWs in every possible way that there’s nothing and no one at the top worthy of salvaging.

What a difference a day makes, huh.
Yesterday: “The NFLs top corporate sponsors havent expressed any concern about the unprecedented wave of player national anthem protests this weekend, a league spokesman said Monday.”

Well yeah, it is fake news. But what do you think these advertisers are thinking today if their reaction in 2014 was as was reported in that article from 3 years ago?
To: combat_boots
WOW! That will leave a mark. 👏👏👏👏

The article is 3 years old?
I wish it had not even been published then.

Yep, now that you mention it, you're right and I appreciate the catch/correction, my memory not being near what it once was ;-)

The entire teams are black! All 32 of them! Why do people watch these meaningless minstrel shows. I see it as racism at its worst. The team owners are all or mostly all, aging, straight white males who pay pennies on the dollar comparatively to the men who bring in the viewers. Advertisers get you, the predictable white male sitting on your lard asses in front of the boob tube to sell you Mickey D's, Viagra, anti suicide drugs and cheap beer.
As we used to say in the Nav, nice work if you can get it! Just turn it off! #BoycottNFL

I am giving USAA until Friday to pull their heads out of their back ends or my 4 cars get insured with someone else. Been with them since ‘75.

I have ATT and I am going to call and see about dropping TV because of the NFL. I know I can’t without being fined, but I want my voice heard.

What really tees me off is that its virtually impossible to avoid contributing monetarily to professional sports because of the myriad of companies that produce goods that I consume and who then advertise during sporting events or sponsor, in some form or fashion, professional players and/or their teams. In addition, tax money is disgustingly spent to build and maintain outrageously expensive stadiums.
