Believe it, some of us are big boys and if someone wants to protest, we let them protest, I don’t like it but people have died to let them have that protest.
I don’t like that Trump has his daughter and son-in-law working on policy, I don’t like Trump working with Pelosi and Schumer - talk about un-american, but I will still support him. And I think we all know this is not about American and UnAmerican, it is about black people wanting white people to suffer.
I do not expect everyone to do the right thing and if I got my panties in a wad everyone did something I did not like I would have a lot of wadded panties.
Just what a lefty would post. Agree with me or you are not: man, patriotic. Instead a: sympathizer, traitor, cuck.
Don't like politics with my sports but don't like dickheads from left or right telling me how I should think or feel about a situation.
That is every individual's freedom of choice. The vast majority of players didn't kneel. Some teams didn't have a single player kneel for the anthem.
So please don't flippantly attack the patriotism of others on this site who don't happen to adopt the exact same stance as you, with the exact same fervor or responses. That's a little excessive.
Having said that, I'm a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan who is now totally disgusted with the team, and I will be participating in the growing #NFLBurnNotice protest.
I am in the process of locating all my modern Dolphins gear, so that it can be burned in a prominent and public manner, consistent with my overwhelming anger at the current team ownership, staff, and several despicable current players.
The failure of the Dolphins franchise in this debacle is a collective one, with plenty of blame to spread around. The cowardice that is being shown—and the utter disrespect being shown towards the paying customers, the FANS—is absolutely breathtaking.
In honor of historical Miami Dolphins history, teams, players, and personnel—such as original owner Joe Robbie, Hall of Fame Head Coach Don Shula, the Perfect Season Team, and many other individuals—I will be preserving my vintage memorabilia, as it doesn't deserve to suffer the fate which awaits the gear associated with the modern team.
Until this issue is resolved positively in favor of the fans and the country, I will be watching no NFL games, and I will also actively avoid patronizing any of the NFL's advertisers and sponsors.
