If Moore wins, McConnell will campaign for the Democrat.
I am not being facetious.

(Was Obama surveilling John Roberts? Might explain a lot.)

You are absolutely right. McConnell will do WHATEVER he has to to protect his precious senate. It’s been the bulwark against conservative victories for years (witness John McCain and Lisa Murkowski).
If the rabble-rousers get more footholds in the senate, he and his ilk are doomed. All they have are money for ads, that’s it. If they don’t work, then they’re out of bullets, and their only hope is to help the democrat.

It happens all the time here in KS - RINOs nominate one of their own in the Primary; when the RINO candidate looses out to the conservative the other RINOs campaign for and vote for the dimocRAT!
Loser RINOs need their own party as they're no way loyal to the GOP only to liberal RINOs!

Can anyone tell us if Alabama has a sore loosers law to prevent Strange from pulling a “Lisa Murkowski” and running as a write-in candidate in the General?

McConnell has never campaigned for a democrat.

I think that you are right. Last night in Fairhope, AL, Steve Bannon said that McConnell and his cohorts had given $30 million to Strange in order to defeat Roy Moore!
