Restaurant Owner Will Not Show NFL Games Until Anthem Protests Stop [Greenville SC]
Independent Journal Review ^ | 9/25/17 | William Viallancort

A restaurant owner in South Carolina has pledged to not show NFL games as long as players continue to kneel during the national anthem.

David McCraw, owner of Palmetto Restaurant and Ale House in Greenville, made the announcement Sunday evening in a Facebook post:

In an interview with Fox Carolina, McCraw explained his decision.

“I want people to realize one thing,” he said. “I believe in what the players are saying; we do have a race issue in the United States. And our community leaders and our national leaders need to get together, along with the people who are protesting, to bring ideas to solve issues. It's easy to...identify problems and issues; the hardest part is bring solutions.”

While stressing an open dialogue, McCraw took issue with the manner in which the players chose to publicize their message, calling it a “totally disrespectful” affront to those who have served the country.

Those of you within driving distance, go and patronize this gentleman and patriot on college football Saturdays and go in for drinks/dinner on Sundays. Show your support for his support.

Villaneuevo, the brave military veteran stood out yesterday on behalf of individual freedom--a priceless benefit of the American experiment for which millions have died and have suffered personal injury and loss!

His courageous refusal to submit himself to the plaudits of Progressive politicians and pundits, AKA "political correctness" to the rest of us, should earn him a freedom award, for he has demonstrated to youth that real strength reveals itself when others show weakness and submission in order to be popular among the know-nothings of the Progressive movement which, over time, is revealing its oppressive and tyrannical over the minds and speech of millions of Americans.

NFL does not know their customers. Has taken their customers for granted and will pay a huge price.

NFL needs an attitude adjustment, must apologize to fans, and teach their players to put their passion to work in black communities if they are sincere in their views!

The NFL has never protested the black on black crime, day after day, week after week, in cities like Chicago.

They don’t _really_ want to talk about race—they won’t like the conversation one bit.
