Oh...and don’t disrespect the flag or the anthem. The NFL will find out that that is a losing position.
it aint just the NFL...
I can’t remember the last time I skipped watching the Sunday night NFL game. I looked at snippets of last night’s but was more than content to fall asleep with the aid of re-runs of the final round of the PGA golf tournament and of WPT Texas Holdum poker tournament.
There’s a lot of buzz right now over Trump’s criticism and the protest. The numbers are probably temporarily higher due to curiosity. Look for the ratings to be lower this coming week.
A little poem I wrote this morning:
(((Standing for Anthem with hand over heart.)))
This morning, on my daily walk,
My neighbor and I had a little talk.
The man, in our morning chat,
Was a South Boston Irish Democrat.
Of course, with all of that, the man
Is also a big New England Patriots Fan.
But this morning, because of yesterdays kneeling,
Has a different view, and its quite revealing.
He turned them off! The NFL!
He basically told them to Go To Hell!
And so, I learned, from the man so loquacious,
That this foolish fad is quite efficacious,
In getting liberals to change their mind,
And opening up the eyes of the blind.
God Bless America!
Fire his a$$!
Now that I think about it, his father also "retired" from driving because of a brain injury.
I know -- that's harsh. :-P
Tonight the Cowboys play, so they will probably get a good number, better than last week’s Monday night game. Tomorrow we should see some stories putting a positive spin on all the numbers based on the Cowboys.
We can thank Obama for all this, not Trump. He is the one who stirred it all up.
Indeed, we are winning.
Even if the Cowboys all do as their boss directs, we won’t watch any NFL game. Thank the turds who kneeled in England.
Big Sport needs to hear our message that we can take or leave their product.
This has been brewing for a long time, the anthem is just the straw that broke the camel’s back.
We are tired of paying big money and spending our time watching a bunch of millionaire thugs playing for billionaire owners who fleece the taxpayers.
I am sure I disagree with a vast majority of the football players in the NFL when it comes to politics. Probably been that way for a long time.
Yet this isn’t political. This is about respect for our flag, anthem, nation. Also to a degree about respecting police officers, veterans, and the office of the Presidency.
The NFL can shove it.
The news doesn’t get much better for us patriots when you look at the ratings for some other games this week. I read that thursday’s game between the ninners and rams surged 30%. And some other Sunday games during the morning saw healthy gains as well.
The good news: no one, not even the anti-American msm, are touting these gains.
Other good news, most of the other games declined in the ratings.
...and Dale is retiring. At least from driving. Good.
Yesterday, it’s as if the league declared war on America.
GOOD. I have loved the NFL and watched it my entire life. I now hope it dies a horrible quick death.
They could be trying to minimize the drop. Remember ratings were down last year so if the 2016 ratings were down 15% from 2015 than last night could represent a drop of 23 -25% from 2015.
