Let's Not Have Our Corporate Event at the Stadium. It's too Political
Why not? Your taxpayer dollars fund those stadiums to the tune of over a billion dollars
Do you think we want to be seen as Anti-American Too?
The All Mighty Coveted “STADIUM”
What do cities now do with such white elephants?
A LOT of money to spend on a waste dump. But that,in essence, is what was done. Grab your NFL ‘stuff’, bag it, put all bags in the back of your pick up truck, drive over and deposit at the gate, at the doors, or on the roof (if, indeed, it has one).
I really do think we need to cancel our stadium gathering. We don't want to send the wrong message.
I see what you did there. 😊
A stadium is nothing more than a place to gather so have your corporate meetings where you can get a good seat. Very soon, stadiums will have a lot of empty seats so pick a nice stadium with clean bathrooms and a good, well stocked bar. You’ll have a great time.
Are white elephants racist?
Yeah, just like why all the corps, including the PGA, who refused to have events at Trump’s Palm Beach resort. Too political. Well, it is now too political for me to show up at any stadium that hosts the NFL games, at taxpayer expense.
Trash bags are seen as being green.
Are they?
:>)
Domed stadiums can be quite useful in ways other than supporting sporting events or corporate shindigs. Remember hurricane Katrina? The Superdome provided shelter from the storm for tens of thousands. In the event of mass civil unrests, these facilities could be used for interment as depicted in the classic Bruce Willis film “The Siege”.
