Let them take a knee. The American public will sit out the season

We should also start contacting the financial sponsors

We already have. We told Verizon there will be NO new equipment purchases or contractual renewals as long as it sponsors the UNpatriotic, hypocritical (n)fl

And our contract expires this month.

While idly channel surfing I came upon the new england game. I didn’t stay long enough to see who the opposing team was.

I spent today cleaning kitchen cupboards & re-organizing closets.

I will spend next Sunday cleaning & oiling 4 saddles.

The following Sunday I will re-organize the garage.

I will find something else to do on Sunday’s—and I won’t be watching the NFL.

Sorry I missed today’s Packer game, as I understand that Rodgers pulled out another win in Overtime....good for them. I will bet without seeing the video clips that Lambeau Field was full-—not the empty seats in other stadiums such as the 49er’s.

Americans will protest with their attendance & their viewing & their pocketbooks for NFL merchandise. A boycott can really hurt—and the stadiums are already not full.—except for Green Bay.

See thread on FR # 3588647 & read what NASCAR team owners said about these ‘protests’.

"We should also start contacting the financial sponsors"

Exactly.

Ask if they side with the kneelers who disrespect our flag, our national anthem and our country.

Just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. The right of free speech is guaranteed in the constitooshin, and therefore, everyone also has a right to an audience, and to unreserved praise, no matter, and especially if, it offends people. Those that take a knee have a constitooshinal right to an NEA grant, and nobody’s allowed to say nothing against them, especially POTUS, who is violating their constitooshinal right by saying that they suck. Anyone else who says a knee-taker sucks is now also ipso fatso violating his constitooshinal right, and should be fired from their normal peasant job for their affrontery towards his lardship knee-taker sixfigs the football star, and the POTUS should be impeached because violating the constitooshin is a felony. Long live free speech for football players. Sit down and watch the game, or you too will be violating the constitooshin and guilty of a felony.

FTA:

Donald Trump is amplifying his attack on professional athletes who kneel during the national anthem as a form of protest.

"Taking a knee" is protesting that African-Americans weren't permitted to do battle against the Nazis or Imperial Japan during WWII. /s

These whiny neanderthals should also be reminded they play their highly-compensated “game” within primarily taxpayer-funded coliseums around this country, that’s been kept safe by centuries of soldier’s blood.
