Colin Kaepernick: I lost my legs and arm fighting in the US military, the same military that I took an oath to defend our nation and flag from enemies foreign and domestic. Next time I hear the national anthem Ill be sure to stand for the both of us since you feel that youve been oppressed. We live in America, the land where no one is truly oppressed in the grand scheme of things. If you want to see the real meaning of oppressed I suggest you enlist in the military and travel abroad to the Middle East where you will witness what oppression is. Where women are beaten and killed in honor if they are raped, where 6-year-old little girls are forced to marry men in their 60s, thats just a little taste of what oppression is. You Know NOTHING of what oppression is. Every American has a choice and every opportunity to better their lives, this is America the greatest country on this planet.
Bang — dead on target.
Bless you always.....Thank you!!!!....
Just posted to my FB page and anywhere else I can think of....How can I tweet this?? I have certain ‘people’ I’ would enjoy sending this to?....like all the sponsors of the NFL, some select members of the media, etc.....I am twitter challenged...58 year old male with techincal issues...:)
Thank you for posting that. I just sent that link - and Senior Airman Brian Kolfage's comments to Kaepernick - to everyone I know.
This picture calls to mind the response of the children who have lost their daddies or mommies in war or whose parent is injured from some war injury seen or unseen. Maybe the kneelers should have thought of that before they “took the knee”.
Many people say that they have the right to protest but they also have the responsibility to consider the effect on other people as well.
That made me tear up!! GOD BLESS THIS HERO. THIS SHOULD GO VIRAL... I’m not on FB but sure would love to see this circulated.!!!
Wow! Thanks for posting this.
Damit, now my monitor has gone all blurry.
