Roger Goodell’s father, Charles Goodell (1926-1987), was a RINO Senator from New York, appointed to the position by Nelson Rockefeller after Robert Kennedy was assassinated, then losing to James Buckley in the 1970 election. Spiro Agnew called Charles Goodell the Christine Jorgensen of the Republican Party.
