Simply out,when we attend a game,watch a game on TV or buy an NFL T-shirt we're not thinking about politics.
But when politics are shoved down our throats we tune out...as evidenced by Levi Stadium last Thursday night.
ANSWER: All honest people.
He disapproves of the destruction of the United States of America and those who call for it.

Sally Jenkins is a wonderful judge of character, an astute observer on what is real, commendable and admirable in sports and life. Why, she ghost authored “Its Not About the Bike”, the adoring “true” life story of drugs cheat Tour De France “winner” Lance Armstrong. A real stand-up gal, Jenkins continued to defend Armstrong against charges of performance enhancing drug use after it was evident from numerous press reports that he had won on the basis of drug cheating (a good rider, but not a climber or a winner until he used the PEDs and he certainly would never have made $ 150 million). Jenkins finally shut her mouth about Armstrong’s “innocence” when he made his public confession on Oprah. She’s a real model for honest reporting and we must all listen to her when she unloads on the “dishonest” Trump.

Hours running around with an oblong piece of plastic is equated to developing the skills necessary to keep our food and ethanol supplies going?
The NFL only needs to state: “We play the Anthem to honor our military, especially those who died in battle. It’s not about cops, social justice, politics, or anything else. You stand in respect, or be fined $1 million per game, which we will give to Wounded Warriors and families of the fallen.”
Instead, here’s what may likely happen:
1) More and more kneel due to left-wing politics (not even about cops anymore)
2) Ratings drop 25-50%
3) MLB responds with patriotic displays and regains national pastime status (ok, that’s wishful thinking)
4) NFL’s response is lame, but angers the kneelers
5) NFL is mired in “free speech” lawsuits
6) Further ratings drops. The Jaguars and Bills go bankrupt.
The NFL endorses disrespecting the flag which represents our freedom.
Why doesn’t the NFL have a flag burning ceremony before the game?
No half measures, go all in.
What progressives have ruined:
- NFL
- ESPN
- FBI
- CIA
- SNL
- Liberal Arts education
- marriage
- entrepreneurship
- the papacy...
- optimism about the future
That is the only real skill they have ... ruining whatever they get involved with.

It was that kind of political correct accommodation that got us to where we are today. Should have kicked a$$ in the 60's and 70'd when it would have made a great difference.
If they get to the point where they choose to forego playing The National Anthem, I will sing it. If those around me join in that will work out just fine.

I suggest they do as has been asked and fire those who do not respect the National Anthem and who do not respect the customer base. Removing the National Anthem would not fix the problem it would only mask one symptom of the problem.
