NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Saturday that President Trump’s recent comments about players kneeling during the national anthem are “divisive” and show a “lack of respect” for the pro football league and its players.
“The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture," he said in a statement. "Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities.”
Goodell's statement follows Trump's comments during a rally Friday night in Alabama in which he slammed NFL players for knealing during the national anthem.

The lack of respect came from a punk who equates his entertainment paycheck with some kind of nobility.

And respect by American organizations, companies,, and citizens? Maybe Trump and Congress can revisit their federal protections?
Maybe if the players and the NFL showed some respect to America and those that watch and pay for their salaries.

They in turn have called me a "thug" (which is pretty funny) for linking them to the articles recommending a boycott of the NFL and to the articles about Trump's speech.

Goodell and his National Felon League don’t respect fans.
Trump has given voice to the frustration of the vast majority of NFL consumers.
Goodell, and the owners, either don’t understand, or don’t care about, their customers.

I never have and never will respect any football player. IMO they are all a bunch of overpaid, overrated frigen goons.
This man has no insight. Trump is disrespectful and devisive? These players make millions in this country and have only contempt for it.
