Balderdash. He’s just another gambler hedging his bets.
Trump is a full-time one. He did make a BIG unforgettable mistake, and won’t admit it flat out, even when everybody knows it.

You could be right. However, I don’t think you are. This is a question of Trump’s character as you can see, and to have more information we would need to see how he reacts to his mistakes in private.

I will say that I think knowledge of a person’s character can be obtained by observing broad patterns over time as well as subtle hints in his speech mixed in with with the more apparent clues.

Cooperation of the Obamacare repeal precipitated Trump’s support for Strange. No doubt the RINOs had a pact that involved McCain’s traitorous nay.

The mistaken gamble Trump made was to Trust the GOP-e before the vote, and not the “BIG unforgettable mistake” you seem to be relishing.
