You’d be very wrong on that. Sessions was an excellent senator. He was almost alone in standing up to illegal immigration, foreign “refugees” dumped on us, and TPP. He took the leadership role on all those issues. He even had to fight his own party.
Now I wouldn’t say he’s been excellent as Attorney General but he was absolutely an excellent senator.
That’s because Todd Akin was a moron who was to inept and/or lazy to rehearse and review answer to simple questions that were likely to be asked.
Not sure how you compare Roy Moore to Todd Akin.
Moore was re-elected to the AL supreme Court despite taking an allegedly controversial position on federal authority, and removed from the Court. His positions are part of the public record and have been for a long time.
