In your mind, try to imagine Johnny Carson, Don Rickles, Steve Allen, Merv Griffin or Jack Parr injecting themselves into an issue like this.

They would never have done this in a million years. They were funny, insightful, and appealed to the entire country.

I have feelings for Jimmy and his family; what a horrendous ordeal. Thank the Lord that his baby is okay.

But, Mr. Kimmel, please don't use people's compassion for political ends. Just stick to being funny...which you are. :)
