I'd be surprised if anyone really gives a sh!t about this "repeal/replace" merry-go-round in Washington anymore.

The happiest people I've known in the last few years are the ones who finally decided to ditch their medical insurance altogether. I don't think that's a coincidence.

One guy has saved up about $55,000 that he would have paid in premiums over that time. The last straw for him was when he needed to fill a prescription at the local pharmacy, and he learned that it was going to cost him more money through his insurance co-pay than it would cost if he paid cash.

And the pharmacies sometimes have contracts that won’t allow them to tell the patient what would be cheaper. Amazing.
