At the same time, NBC was arguably trying to influence both the 2012 AND 2016.
Shouldn't there be a special counsel appointed to see if there are ANY connections between NBC and Russia?
I mean, just to be safe and maintain the integrity of the freedom of the press.
Ugh. The last Olympics on NBC were unwatchable, with the nonstop praises for trannies and hijab wearing “athletes.” Add to the mix all the commercials featuring same-sex couples and my TV was turned off.
Same here Mom,
Seemed to be a non stop commercial for anything NBC.
I’d prefer to watch reruns of deputy dawg.
I had thought that the Rio olympics were a little better than previous ones. More sports anf fewer stories about an athlete winning for her three legged cat “Hoppy” or similar drivel.
Why is the Olympic Committee even dealing with NBC on this level? The change in viewing habits coupled with appleTV, roku, etc. I was hoping sooner or later there would be an Olympic Channel that I could pay for, choose the event I want to watch (including the medal ceremony) live or via reply (still not getting up at 4 am to watch certain events), plus some interviews.
Until that time comes, I will check out the Olympics only in passing.
They can just set up some GoPro cameras at various points around the playing area, and have it stream on Periscope. You can pick an angle and enjoy commentary free, you would just need someone to run the information feed. Maybe a few people to fly drones for above shots.
But that would be too easy, and doesnt involve billions in bribe....um, broadcasting rights dollars flowing in.
