'Impeachment Is About Whatever the Congress Says It Is’
To be sure. And what Congress says impeachment is about depends some on the political strength of the president.

Congress can impeach the POTUS at any time. But the people who do it have reelection to consider.

I can see where Congressman Waters might not see that as a problem. People who got elected by patriots, on the other hand . . .

Did you read George Orwell's 1984? Two minutes of hate. He predicted it in 1948!

Hey Max!

YOU are NOT “congress”!

Your are one of 435 mouths, and size doesn’t matter.

Actually, I’m surprised she forgot the required Bill Clinton talking points, and admitted Bill Clinton lied!

I am now going to recite a song we sang in grade school of my white privileged youth. It’s called COTTON PICKERS:

We’re gonna jump down turn around
pick a bale of cotton,
jump down turn around pick a bale a day.

Jump down turn around
pick a bale of cotton,
jump down turn around pick a bale a day.

I’m gonna get on my knees and
pick a bale of cotton,
get on my knees and pick a bale a day.

Get on my knees and
pick a bale of cotton,
get on my knees and pick a bale a day.

I’m gonna jump jump down and
pick a bale of cotton,
Jump jump down and pick a bale a day.

jump jump down and
pick a bale of cotton,
Jump jump down and pick a bale a day.

We’re gonna pick, pick, pick, pick,
pick a bale of cotton,
pick, pick, pick, pick, pick a bale a day.

Pick, pick, pick, pick,
pick a bale of cotton,
pick, pick, pick, pick, pick a bale a day.

We’re gonna jump down turn around
pick a bale of cotton,
jump down turn around pick a bale a day.

Jump down turn around
pick a bale of cotton,
jump down turn around pick a bale a day.

We’re gonna jump down turn around
pick a bale of cotton,
jump down turn around pick a bale a day.

We’re gonna jump down turn around
pick a bale of cotton,
jump down turn around pick a bale a day.

Jump down turn around
pick a bale of cotton,
jump down turn around pick a bale a day.

Well, me and my papy gonna
pick a bale of cotton,
me and my papy gonna pick a bale a day.

Me and my papy gonna
pick a bale of cotton,
me and my papy gonna pick a bale a day.

Hey, Lordie pick a bale of cotton,
hey, Lordie pick a bale a day.

check amazon for Pick A Bale Of Cotton mp3 download

now ducking for the “that’s racist” gif post.

I can guarantee that no liberal has ever read the Constitution and believed what it says.

Impeachment is about whatever the Congress says it is.

Actually this is true.

Impeachment has, is and always be a political act. It is the final check and balance on the Executive Branch.

But what Maxine forgets, it requires more than political support, it requires popular support. This is why the left went after Richard Nixon so hard. By using the media they were able to isolate Nixon and were able to set the Narrative. Watergate was just the MagGuffin, something to show why the left was bring Nixon down.

We are seeing the same tactic against President Trump, but they are not working. Several reasons, perhaps the best is the left no longer has 100% control over the narrative.

As Trump has shown he can make his case on Twitter, and there a thousands of other ways to get his message out. (To a lesser degree Trump is more likable and he is not afraid to fight back).

Until the left separates Trump from his supporters there are no Republican politician getting aboard that train. With out Republicans Impeachment is a non starter.

She's quite correct.

Democracy: Two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.

Republic: A democracy where two hundred wolves and one hundred lambs elect two wolves and one lamb as their representatives to vote on what to have for lunch.

Constitutional Republic: A republic with a Constitution guaranteeing that lamb is not on the lunch menu. Eventually, the Supreme Court rules—five wolves to four lambs--that mutton is not the same as lamb.

The monopoly power to make the laws, enforce the laws, decide what the law means, and how it applies to specific cases, can be, will be, and has been used to make Constitutions and democratic elections irrelevant.

A high crime in our3 day is a felony and a misdemeanor is criminalized behavior that is not a felony. Easiest way to understand it in 1787 terms is in the context of how important honor was in that era. Anything that would dishonor a man’s reputation and/or office could be a high crime.

Yep..."high crimes and misdemeanors" is intentionally vague and open-ended.

Interesting entry for the historical meaning, background in English law, usage, and current use of "High Crimes and Misdemeanours" at Wiki.

Is it time to kick california out of the union yet?

If california is aspiring to be the equivalent of north korea to the US, we don’t want you.

At this point, thd other 49 states could care less how much you contribute in federal taxes.

You are not worth the problems you cause the US anymore.

Other states are bad, but the sheer insanity coming out of california sets the bar for bat shit crazy.

If any of you haven’t seen her speech at the University of Florida you must see it. It’s comedy gold.

She pronounces the word “coach” as corch. Hilarious.
