NEW YORK (Reuters) - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Wednesday that countries need to unite to enforce sanctions and apply pressure on North Korea to abandon its nuclear and missile programs.
Now is not the time for dialogue. Now is the time to apply pressure, Abe told a gathering of investors at the New York Stock Exchange, remarks he later reiterated in an address to the annual United Nations General Assembly.

Sanctions have worked so well up till now, as long as Russia, China and Iran are giving them what they need, what good will more sanctions do now?

I wonder if our media will now treat him like they’re doing Trump and make Abe out to be a bully against Korea too.

Sanctions?
There’s been 9 UN sanctions against Best Korea so far.
Sanctions (hock spit).
What we need are Sanctions against China. I’m starting to believe Lil’ Kimmie is just a puppet of President Xi anyway. And China should be tasked with solving this.
Or face sanctions on their nation.

It’s hard to stop suicide bombers because they don’t give a fig for their own life. In North Korea, the dictator-tot doesn’t give a fig for his people’s lives. Sanctions do next to nothing, other than prolong and exacerbate the misery of living there.
You don’t try to save a gangrenous leg.

Yes...sanctions on China would be a good thing to do. He is a puppet for them. Why else would China continue to help them? I guess do is so they can destroy us via NK?

I’m sure they will try, and will leave out a key fact that NK has fired missiles toward Japan recently.

I am thinking that one of the goals of the Trump UN
speech was to let the NORKs know that nobody is
going to get their panties in a twist if a few generals
get together and kill that little son of a bitch,
Rocket Boy.

Says a guy with a constitution that prevents him from sending troops anywhere, much less against North Korea.
Japan and Korea need to head this, and do the heavy lifting. They are the ones next to the fire.
The US can help, but we should not be setting the direction.

I’m no expert in Diplospeak. Ain’t what Abe said the abandonment of Diplomacy? I mean, what he said sounds like about as much as you CAN say?
