“If these supporters are also patriotic, the flow of donations will dwindle”
And that is not all. Television and mass merchandising revenues will also plummet, generating even further pressure on university finances - the big schools have a lot to lose. The campus leftists have a huge dilemma - loss of money to fund their leftist programs, or dissing America. They created the monster, might be worthwhile to see them deal with it.
I am glad I was able to experience higher learning when the debate and competition of ideas and creativity was valued, freedom of thought and expression was a given.

The only thing really being pointed out with these protests is that white players are an increasing minority in professional sports.
I suggest congress launch a title IX probe why they are under-represented.

They’d find out they have no power. Given the roster size of college football, the fact that 99% of the players are so-so at best and highly replaceable, and they can all have their scholarships revoked in about 5 minutes they are completely at the whim of the university.

And while you are at it, file one for the midgets and say if MEN are allowed in WOMENs rest rooms, midgets should be able to play in the NBA.

How did it work out for Missouri. A bad football team is still bad, the coach got the wimp president fired and then departed the scene, and enrollment is way down at the University. So I guess the end results of the football protest are generally positive.

I was raised in Alabama and have been a Bama fan my entire life. I usually go to 1 or 2 games per year. However, if their players ever pulled this crap I would not watch another game. Also, I see they talked to liberal Bill Curry- the worst hire in Alabama history.

Or...
They may find that some patriotic charities might start pulling scholarships and give the money to more appreciative students.

This would not hurt just college football. Think of admissions and alumni fundraising. Mizzou is still reeling from the stupid actions of a silly white woman and a small BLM group.
