I suspect the corrupt system of big time college football will be the next sports institution to experience and accomodate Colin Kaepernick type social protests. It will be interesting to see if fans from red states start boycotting their beloved college teams like they have the NFL.

Any college hopeful who just may be good enough to play for the NFL better not disrespect the flag cuz chances are they won’t be considered, especially by the Cowboys.

Well, you know, if I were a leftist radical who hated American football to begin with, I’d do everything I could to inflame the situation and to encourage football players to “take a knee.” Burn it all down, boycott football fans, boycott! Sometimes, the actual end result is the intent, whether or not it appeared to have been from the outset.

It will do them major harm. Money from alumni might just dry up. Look what happed at Harvard this last week, even they got major grief for getting the manning guy to be a senior fellow.

If it weren’t for bragging rights, betting and tailgate parties, college football would dry up.

College players following? What about near toddlers following!?!?!

Every player on the 8-and-under Cahokia Quarterback Club football team took part in the protest before Sunday’s game in Belleville.

1) The despicable USAToday seeking to egg-on college athletes.

2) Good luck with doing this and then trying to get drafted.

Yeah, college players have some leverage, but the paying customer of the NFL (Not For Long) has say. As viewership declines, the amount of money players get declines, as fewer kids start playing football due to the head trauma issue, it may only be a matter of time, but yeah, go ahead and take the advise of some dweeb writing for the USAToday rag.

Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska and some small colleges had anthem protests last year.

Likely they have taken place this season but have gone unreported by the sports branch of the MSM.

I think they should Go For it, then we can turn the LA Coliseum in to a Homeless and Illegal Alien Detention and deportation center.

While the excellent college teams generate plenty of revenue to fund their scholarships and programs, I expect that many programs are funded by generous donations of supportive alumnae.

If these supporters are also patriotic, the flow of donations will dwindle. Then the college players who wanted “real power” will have no more scholarships and no more PR to propel them into the NFL and big money jobs.

It might take 10-15 years to play out, but would not surprise me to see it happen.

The NFL, the NBA, and MLB should all take a cue from the colleges and keep their teams in the locker room during the National Anthem.

"Unlike the NFL, college football teams are in their locker rooms during the anthem..."

Hint to the NFL...

McDonald’s out of nuggets? Punch the manager.

Someone dissed you at Howard Johnsons..? tear up the place.

Your wings are cold? Punch out the owner and her High School daughter, too.

The latest Trayvon story got you down? Yeah, have a fit in the stadium.

Western Civilization imbued pagan sports with Christian values. Fair play, excellence, teamwork, humility. Without Christian values, sports return to pagan origins; cruelty, pederasty, misogyny.
