Take a look at a map of the region. Seoul and Beijing are right next to North Korea. We are not going to use nuclear weapons when the fall out will affect South Korea or China. We have had 60 years to prepare conventional forces for this.
Mattis has so many assets between the US and ROK alone, the North won't know what hit them.

Mattis has so many assets between the US and ROK alone, the North won't know what hit them. We keep saying stuff like hat when we have been fighting a small group of radicals in Afghanistan for 20 years without success.
I guess we should consider that Poppy fields have value, poor people don't so presents a different collateral damage question I guess.
