Every federal government agency is run by “Obama holdovers.” This is obvious in the Intelligence Agencies. Trump has done some very positive things but he was informed early not to touch the “deep state.”

I know it's not popular, but this is President Trumps State Department. Top officials are his appointees. He has to bring State, and other areas of the government, to heel. Government cannot be sensitive to the will of the voters if they subvert the voters choice in policy and leadership. The responsibility is President Trump's. He ran on the issue, and I believe he'll get credit, and the thanks of future Presidents, if he succeeds. If he fails, history won't care, but the policy failures will be the Presidents. This is a bigger structural problem than the disagreements with Congress. They are elected by the voters, and can be thrown out. No one elects the Lois Lerner's of government, though there are remedies for many of their actions.

I think Tillerson was always a horrible choice.
He sodomized the Boy Scouts something terrible by insisting on homosexuals being allowed in.
