I wouldn’t bet that they’re really naïve. It looks like they turned this refugee business into a career.
They had actually taken in a couple of hundred British kids over the years and only recently, with the political and ecclesiastical yammering about “refugee children,” did they begin to take in these young men. I don’t now about the Brits, but under German law they consider anybody who looks under 40 to be a child. I’m sure that relates only to people who are also discernibly Muslim, btw.
