Columbia University students recently voted against a proposal that would make all restrooms on a dorm-floor gender inclusive.
Students living in at least five of the elite schools residence halls voted floor-by-floor to determine whether their male- and female-designed restrooms would be made gender inclusive, a practice made possible under a new Columbia University Residence Life Policy.

Money quote:
While I understand the intention of this decision this rule reinforces a democratic fallacy, where those who would benefit from a decision to designate bathrooms as gender-inclusive are not necessarily represented or represented to the extent of their need, Bhatt elaborated.
The Prussians would agree with you Krish Bhatt. (google Prussian Three Class voting system)>
The leftist doctrine exposed again—leftist voters get to vote early and often—or else they are discriminated against!
LOL, “democratic fallacy” because the vote didn’t go your way.
Here is the world we live in: People think that same sex marriage being legal in the US means Americans are for it. However, in virutally, if not literally, every time it was taken to the ballot, same sex marriage was outlawed, usually by a wide margin.
But every single one of those results were reversed by a judge. The most dramatic was the reverse of the “Defense of Marriage” act.
The country is still anti-same-sex-marriage, but it is legal, thanks to activist judges. And no, the laws were NOT discriminatory in the least.
Columbia University must change its name because it honors the evil Christopher Columbus. I suggest something more sensitive like Ché Centre for Revolutionary Studies in Applied Maxist-Leninist Boliverian and Indigenous Cultures.
I guess the vote didn’t go the way Columbia thought it would. I wonder what was the vote split among women who would have to share their bathrooms with guys.
To the left, any vote result that does not conform to party doctrine is illegitimate.
Well that’s it the majority has spoken. Time for an administrative over-ride or maybe even judicial intervention.
Now the school will just dictate it in true DemonRAT fascist fashion. So much for democracy and republicism.
“Students voted in 2015 to create the $154-per-semester “Wellness Initiative Fee,” which has previously been used to purchase massage chairs for designated napping zones on campus.’
Columbia’s students aren’t brainwashed enough for that YET ,,, keep on it as I know you will .
Give ‘em time. Maybe they can revive the old ‘Patrice Lumumba University’ franchise from the old USSR.
“Three out of five!”
