Of course. Interestingly, long-term Democrat mayors, like the first Richard Daley, would not be tolerated by the left of today. He would most likely respond to violence with aggressive policing, and would be roundly denounced because of it. The old Democrat Party catered to the working class. The new Democrat Party does not give a damn about white working-class people, which is why they are switching to Repub.
