Shoot rioters, just a couple of them at each of these affairs and the rioting will end very quickly. I would bet it would be each of two. Every mayor and governor should announce that shooting rioters is henceforth policy. it will save many lives by preventing these things growing to involve firebombs and guns and they will if they are not put down firmly but tolerated with token opposition. The Left thought they were on the cusp of finally taking it all and they feel cheated and are going to push it as hard as they can with the goal to be either piecemeal capitulation of the society or actual violent revolution.
Last year at this time I was at a weekend tech conference in St. Louis. Fortunately the conference organizers chose Seattle this year. It’s also later by a couple of weeks this time around, so I suppose there’s a chance that Seattle will be stirred up by then.
Only shoot white rioters so BLM doesn’t get stirred up.
The Sparticist League was a radical violent Marxist group in Germany and still exists in the Communist party (in its various forms). They are Trotskyites, they infest universities, and are very active in creating disturbances. I used to see their insane, inflammatory flyers posted all over my neighborhood when I lived on the Upper West Side near Columbia.

We’re a city in steep decline. In the last few years we lost our NFL team, we’ve had televised riots in Ferguson (a suburb on the north side of the metro area), and crime is being underreported throughout the city in an effort to hide what we’ve become. I think on a per capita basis we’re the most violent city in America. I only go to the city when I have no other choice, and I never stop anywhere (gas, food, etc) until I cross back over into St. Louis county. I won’t even go to the St. Louis cardinals baseball stadium, which is a shame my son misses out on that.
So the answer to all the strife was to elect a female socialist mayor whose first act was to remove a Confederate statue that no one knew existed until she wanted it taken down. Since then she has done absolutely nothing of any consequence.
The shame of it is we have some jewels in our city (our zoo is one of the best in the nation, and the Gateway Arch is fantastic) but it won’t be long before the tourism dries up and the city goes further into the hole. From time to time the city and county talk about merging, but I can’t imagine why the county would ever want to absorb the city.
These fool’s don’t know the first thing! First you find a CVS close to several liquor stores to hold your rally, then let their savage instincts take over.
If ONLY someone had donneda white hood, it would have received coverage for the next month. Everyone knows that the “protesters” in St. Louis must have had a very good reason to riot, since they are all leftists.

I had not seen this report. Of course, the “objective” reporter started out by characterizing the riots as “protests against police violence.”

It depends on the town, and the mayor. In Portland, where the mayor supports Antifa, and tells the Leftist public that the city can't "afford police overtime" to have extra bodies to confront the rioters, Antifa and the city council has a deal going. If they don't damage property, they can attack all the "alt-right whites" they want. Downtown Portland, around Pioneer Square, is a ghost town...
It doesn’t depend on anything except the willingness of AuntieFaye’s snowflakes to get shot. I am not commenting on the willingness of the mayors to actually deal with the rioters.
