California Goes Full Sanctuary State With Sweeping Immigration Bill

California lawmakers punctuated the end of the 2017 legislative season by passing a comprehensive immigration bill that makes the state one of the nation’s most hostile to federal immigration authorities.

In a party line vote early Saturday morning, the state senate passed SB 54, a long-debated measure to shield illegal immigrants from the Trump administration’s strict immigration enforcement.

The bill sharply limits state and local law enforcement communication with federal immigration authorities, and prevents police officers from questioning or detaining people on civil immigration violations.

Entitled the “California Values Act,” the final version passed the Democratic-controlled Senate by a vote of 27-11. The bill, now headed to Gov. Jerry Brown, is a scaled-back revision of an earlier proposal that would have cut off communication and resource-sharing with federal immigration authorities except in cases backed by a criminal warrant.

Unless California begins an armed invasion of Nevada, Arizona & Colorado, they are all talk and no action.
They can pound beach sand.

Californians should refuse to file their state tax returns.
If the state is going to break the laws then the citizens shouldnt have to abide by them either.

Immigrations and Customs should set up shop on all ports of entry/exit from California. Real highway checkpoints not ones that just wave you through, passport control at every airport and bus station, the whole nine yards. Live in Walnut Creek and need to go to a business meeting on the east coast? You now need to prepare like you are going to a foreign country, and it’s not our fault, it’s yours.

California is run by government worker employee unions.

Add in the universities for flavor.

You wind up with a stew very few want to eat.

Sadly, they blame all the problems on Republicans, and keep voting for members of the same party that has controlled California’s Legislature for the last 50-60 years.

The print media, television media, movie media, and all those associate with them lie their asses off, and the public suckers for it.

Many people actually hate what the state has become. None the less, they keep voting the same way and blame everyone but themselves.

We told them what was coming. It’s here. They still won’t listen.

Make sure they don’t get any kind of federal goodies.

And there are some federal goodies. Look up the Hetch Hetchy controversy. The Raker Bill in 1913 granted San Francisco the right to dam the Hetch Hetchy valley in Yosemite National Park and make use of the water for San Francisco. However, San Francisco violated many rules of the Raker Bill that should have voided the agreement. The land is in a national park belonging to the federal government, and San Francisco is paying nothing for it, or for the water and power generation. President Trump would be within his rights to issue an executive order nullifying the Raker Act agreement since San Francisco violated it. One violation is that San Francisco was supposed to be managing the power generation and not sell it off for profit, which has happened. PG&E controls it and sells the power for profit.

The feds could cut off water and power to San Francisco, or sell it to them, or simply order the dam demolished to restore the Hetch Hetchy Valley (something the environmentalists have been pushing for).

_-——————————

Actually, California's political and union elite was very upfront in the 1980s and 1990s that they were pushing for a non white minority majority Hispanic dominated population by the mid 2000 time frame and they were actively recruiting illegal alien women to travel to California for the state government funded prenatal care and labor and delivery of anchor babies

Immediately after birth, the anchor babies were enrolled in the full suite of benefits the exceedingly generous states bestows to its residents.

We are now seeing the culmination of 30 years of California policy and prioities
