Al Jolson worked at the blackface.
Will check it out. Thanks for the tip CL!
#19 I bought a Shark Navigator several years ago and it was night and day difference between the bagless vs the one with a bag. The Shark was much quieter compared to the old type of vacuums and sucked up so much more dirt from the carpet.
I hated using the old one and the dogs did too. The new one was quiet enough not to bother them.
I’ve never had ANY vacuum cleaner quit working. You have to do normal maintenance and belt replacement, of course.
I guess it technically didn’t completely “quit”. They stopped sucking the carpets properly. I am not the only one who had this issue during that time period though. EVERY single one of my gal pals did as well. There really was a period of time that the cost was high but the quality was cheap.. and they only lasted a short period of time. Dyson’s popularity (even though the price was HIGH) came from word of mouth IMHO. I heard about this new machine from a cousin in law and a lady at the grocery store. In turn, I let my neighbor borrow it (and she purchased one in a week after using mine).
