She should have been jailed for 20 year for ignoring federal comsec directives she signed for to get the email account, opening up top secret material to foreign governments, years ago. But just like every other violation of the law, it’s old news and the media tells us we shouldn’t care because the AG at that time said it wasn’t done on purpose. (Even though she had to be aware of the possibility with the training she got to get the account and CAC card.)

The reasons I have heard for why there has been no effort to prosecute Hellary over emails, etc. Is the believed impossibility of picking a jury. Picking a jury is always tough in high profile cases and this would be an ultimate high profile case.(About as “high profile” as you can get!) For example who hasn’t heard of the Clintons, who doesn’t have an opinion on Hellary? Also the venue would DC , the “home field” for the Clinton team. Getting it moved would be a PR nightmare. The media would spin it all as an “Alt-right Nazi Show Trial”, fair trial let alone a conviction would be impossible.
Notice I am not advocating this, just reporting what someone who claims to be “in the know” (And yes he could be lying to me about being “in the know”! People do!) have told me.
