Compromise: Tell the children of illegals to go back to their parent's home country of origin and go through a 3-year waiting period. Learn English, gain work skills in the skilled trades, and be drug and disease free. No criminal background. Must take a course in civics. Ineligible to receive any taxpayer-funded benefits or participate in any government programs.

Then, and only then, applications for U.S. citizenship will be approved on a case-by-case basis. No chain migration - NONE! Parents must go back, no exceptions.

And this is AFTER the border is completely secured. 14th Amendment says no anchor babies. Moratorium on legal immigration. Repeal of the 1965 Ted Kennedy Immigration Act. Nationwide E-Verify. No taxpayer benefits to illegals. No amnesty whatsoever to any illegals.

I would grant some sort of residency to an illegal IF said illegal completed 12 continuous years of service in the US Army
