National (38.5%) and Labour (38.2%) are neck-and-neck according to a new poll from Horizon Research. The survey also finds ACT on 1.4%, just over the 1.2% threshold for David Seymour to bring in a second MP

We've had four polls recently. Considering sampling error, they are all consistent with each other. National and Labour are very close, with NZ First a tad ahead of the Greens for third place. With the polls this tight, there is plenty of time for the situation to change. But, it looks as though National has withstood Labour's charge.
The ACT Party, mentioned in this news report, is a natural ally of National. National and ACT are like Dorothy and Toto from the Wizard of Oz. Maybe ACT will pick up two seats, like this poll suggests. But, my polling average says one seat only.
Of course there may have been a change in attitude since then that I'm unaware of.
I'm just speaking my mind...for better or for worse.

It’s not fair that countries rely on our nuclear umbrella and then disrespect us for having nukes. We have a heavy burden being the leader of the free world. But, NZ’s not the worst. It took 10 casualties in Afghanistan. That’s a lot for such a small country. Here they receive one of their fallen comrades.

We love our soldiers as much as the Kiwis love theirs. And we have received back many fallen and hurt. Let’s keep our President and our soldiers in our prayers, that there will be an end these wars we’ve been in.
