Laura Ingraham, the radio host and Fox News commentator, is about to become a prime time host on the conservative cable network.
Ingraham is expected to take over the 10 p.m. hour on Fox News, according to people who spoke on condition of anonymity.
While there may be one or two final details to negotiate, Ingraham has been telling friends that the deal is essentially done, the sources said.
Her new show will be part of a broader change to the network's top-rated prime time lineup. Sean Hannity's show, currently at 10 p.m., will move one hour earlier to 9 p.m., multiple sources confirmed.
And "The Five," a talk show originally named for its 5 p.m. time slot, will shift from 9 p.m. back to its namesake hour.
The changes come on the heels of Eric Bolling's exit from Fox and the cancellation of his 5 p.m. show "Fox News Specialists" last Friday.
Fox is temporarily replacing the "Specialists" with news programming. But "The Five" will move back to 5 p.m. in the coming weeks, the sources said.
The launch date for Ingraham's new show is unknown. But the sources said the new schedule is confirmed and known among senior staffers.

You just know that Juan Williams and the blonde chick who worked for W are not gonna say anything outside of what we heard before. The other one at the end was married to Gavin Newsom. Serpent head & his wife-like. Gutfield and Watters: they should have their own show on Sundays opposite ‘60 Minutes’. They are both funny because no one knows or cares which way they swing.
Somewhat redeems them. Ridding of Bolling was a mistake and keeping The Five an even bigger one.

Good news. A FOX show I might actually watch from beginning to end.
Of the 5 I DVR now, I don’t actually watch more than 45 minutes of all of them combined.

Perino must be one of the biggest air heads - the way she gushes over that stupid dog (even writing a book about it) is embarrassing. What on earth would make anyone with half a brain think that the world would be interested in their dog? Good grief.

Liking your pet is fine. I would like to think that everyone likes their pet or they wouldn’t have one. Thinking the rest of us are interested in her pet is what makes her a numbskull.

Laura was given a show many years ago that didn’t work out. She might be good in small doses..we’ll see.
